Chris studied Biology/Chemistry at Ferrum College. He went on on to earn his PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering at University of Southern Mississippi's School of Polymer Science and Engineering.  He has over 20 years' experience in industry working for specialty chemical and materials companies including Rohm and Haas, Avery Dennison, and Eastman Chemical (Adhesives and Plasticizers, and Performance Films.)  Chris is a well-known and trusted expert in acrylic free radical polymerization (emulsion, solvent, solventless and controlled/living techniques) from ideation to full scale manufacture.  Moreover, Chris has developed solutions in adhesives, coatings and elastomers along with their application and manufacture into downstream products for OEMs and end-users.  He has a proven track record of rapidly innovating converting ideas into revenue and cost savings for his clients and employers.
